1. AFS India Member Schools 5th National Meet. Date: 23- 26 October 2023 :-
Our school actively participated in the AFS India Member Schools 5th National Meet, graciously hosted by The Emerald Heights International School, Indore.
Two students from Class 9 Rudra Garg and Ishika Bindal, attended the meet with two teachers, Gitanjali Rajput and Shradha Shandilya.
In a recent AFS India Member School National Calendar Activity, our students Pranjul Bhardwaj (Class 11 B) and Abhinandan Sankhla (Class 9 B) participated in a captivating Zoom webinar hosted by Pragnya Bodhni High School Mumbai.
The webinar provided a platform for a thought-provoking conversation with Indian farmers, emphasizing the often-overlooked magic of millets. The session aimed to bridge the gap between students and farmers, fostering understanding and appreciation for the invaluable significance of millets in our agricultural landscape.
Our school debut at the AFS Intercultural Robotic Competition hosted by Maa Anandmayee Memorial School. In a remarkable feat, our Class 10th students, Harshit Upadhyay and Anshuman Bansal, clinched the FIRST PRIZE under the guidance of their devoted escort teacher, Palash Goyal.
This victory marks the inception of our robotics journey, and we're eager for the triumphs that lie ahead!
Our two esteemed teachers, Gitanjali Rajput and Shradha Shandilya, represented our school at the AFS Intercultural Volunteer Global Meet 2023, held on 02.12.23 via Zoom.
In the company of 130 volunteers worldwide, our teachers actively participated, sharing their favorite AFS stories and experiences. This engagement not only showcased our school's commitment to global initiatives but also played a pivotal role in strengthening our identity on the international stage.
School has recently partnered with AFS Intercultural Programs, India. students and teachers will get opportunity to participate in Exchange programs within the country and abroad, get chance to collaborate with schools on a global platform.
5. AFS Global Stem Programme :-
Era Rajput of class X has been selected for AFS Global Stem Programme. She has been selected on the basis of her application and two rounds of interview. She has been awarded full scholarship for the programme. The programme comprises of 6 weeks virtual classes and one month offline classes in Egypt.
The school management is proud of her being a part of Global Programme.
Mr. Pradeep Bansal successfully completed the AFS Global STEM Educators Program. He completed 20 modules over four weeks and attended interactive dialogue sessions with educators from around the world. He gained valuable insights into global education trends, communication styles, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Grateful for this opportunity, he looks forward to applying these learnings to benefit his students.
